This carving can be seen to symbolise the journey of life, with its many opportunities and encounters. The meeting that may bring us fulfilment depends on the most startling chance and circumstance. The journey from the very first meeting to true union and love, is long and arduous.
This carving by our co-founder Kathleen Smyth, of a man and a woman on either side of the Tree of Life, is from a 1,000 year old stone in Co. Donegal, Ireland. Hand poured using pure bronze and carefully polished.
Dimensions: 10 x 3.5 inches (25 x 9cm)
