Crafted from 100% lambswool, the Connemara Throw boasts a traditional Irish plaid reminiscent of the first blankets woven in our mill. Masterfully selected by designer Helen McAlinden, the deep purple, blue, and green tones capture the hues of the mountains, lakes, and rivers of the wild and rugged Connemara region in North West Galway. The throw is skillfully woven at Foxford with techniques that have been in use for over 130 years, measuring 140cm x 180cm with a rolled fringe weight of 0.75kg.
