Confronted with both practical and spiritual obstacles, the monks relied on the bountiful sea for sustenance and their unwavering faith for nourishment. This ancient carving, depicting a cross rising from the waves resembling a strong ship mast, symbolizes both dimensions. Created by sculptor Liz Morrissey, this piece has been meticulously crafted using pure bronze and meticulously polished to perfection. Dimensions: 3 x 9 inches (8 x 24cm)
