St. Patrick’s Basket celebrates the Patron Saint of Ireland, who is credited for bringing Christianity to Ireland. A National holiday takes place on the 17th March with Irish parades taking place in cities across the Island. A great fun Irish celebration for friends and family.
The shamrock, the National emblem for Ireland has inspired the shape of the basket which is the outline of the 3 leafed plant, a symbol of the Trinity used by St. Patrick.
The Spring flowers are a mix of yellow buttercups, green ivy, shamrocks and purple Irish flax. There is also a tiny ladybird and Lucky Four Leaf Clover hidden along the bottom.
