This colourfully decorated basket has been inspired from local Irish wild flowers and woodlands found in nearby Castle Archdale Forest Park in County Fermanagh. During the second World War Castle Archdale was an RAF base for seaplanes called the ‘Catalina.’
This ancient limestone landscape on the shores of Lower Lough Erne supports a unique mix of wildlife and biodiversity. The hand painted decoration includes pink wild roses, forget-me-nots, thistles and daffodils. A beautiful hand applied butterfly is hidden amongst the foliage also a tiny ladybird and bumblebee.
Due to the hand crafted nature of this piece, it is made to order. Please allow extra time for this piece to be made and shipped from Ireland
