The Claddagh, a most recognizable Celtic figure, is comprised of three symbols. These symbols are the head, the heart and the crown. They are joined by the long arced arm which the gently open hands cap. In this instance they feature great detail throughout the wrist cuffs. Between the hands rest a heart which atop it sits an intricately designed crown. The hand, heart and crown represent friendship, love, and loyalty, respectively. Each of the elements are necessary to complete the Claddagh image, just as all three are necessary for a successful relationship.
